Tickets for Peter's upcoming warm up gigs in aid of the Haiti Earthquake victims go onsale tomorrow, 20th Feb 2010 at 10am.

The dates are Feb 23rd, 24th March 6th, 11th, 12th and are the 'cosy' Bury Met. This is a small venue (seats around 220) so you'll have to be bloomin' quick if you want to go. And tickets are NOT available via The Met box office. Here's the news about it on Peter's website

Good luck to anyone who tries for tickets pk.png

I just got tickets for the warm up show on Saturday April 3rd at the lowry studio, which only holds about 150. As you can expect the tickets went within a minute when they went on sale. Have not purchased tickets for the arena tour as quite frankly I don't think Comedy is suited to such large venues. If you are at the back at a pop concert you can not see anything, and for comedy it is worse. Saw Eddie Izzard in an arena about five years ago, and whilst it was ok. I much prefer the traditional theatres holding circa 1000 people.
Comedy seems to be on the up at the moment with any comedian selling out in double quick time, suspect it is to do with economy and everyone needed a laugh. I live in Chesterfield and we have a venue that holds a thousand, and have John Bishop visiting in December, and shocked to find that he has already basically sold out. Single tickets only left.

Ok people. These warm up gigs have now been and gone and not a word from anyone.

Is that a sign I should be selling my PK tickets as he's just not funny any more???? wink.gif

no no no don't be selling your tickets!!

i've been lucky enough to get tickets for the warm ups 3 times at bury met,the first show i saw i was totally plastered and couldn't remember a thing so i got tickets again a couple of week later and he was really funny,he does a little section about shows on channel 4 and it really is hilarious, one thing though there doesn't seem to be any stand out lines or catchfrases(as in garlic bread, put big light on etc)
the warm ups have been 2 30min slots with a break inbetween,i'm going again on tuesday so maybe i'll get to see a run through of the final show as it looks like it could be his last warm up before the arena shows start
